with Lowell Mora
You're enrolling in a 3-month, one-on-one mentorship designed to help you build a fractional CFO practice the right way, without the costly trial and error most people go through.
Each week you'll spend one hour working directly with Lowell, moving through the real decisions that determine whether a practice succeeds. The curriculum is built around how Lowell actually built Impact CFO: the decisions he made, the money he spent that he shouldn't have, and what he would do differently. No theory. No generic frameworks. Real numbers, real process, real talk.
Here's what the three months look like:
Month One covers the foundation: entity structure, insurance, banking, contracts, and the traps that cost most people money before they ever sign their first client. You'll also build your tech stack, define your offering, set your pricing, and develop the positioning that actually works in a real conversation.
Month Two focuses on getting clients: networking that converts without feeling like networking, the sales conversation Lowell uses from first call to signed contract, and how to select the right clients from the start. Who to take, who to pass on, and the early signals that a client relationship will cost more than it pays.
Month Three is about running the practice well: how to structure engagements so they're repeatable, how to run a business review that builds trust, and how to manage your own P&L like the CFO you are. Revenue by client, margin, utilization, when to raise rates, and how to grow without trading away the flexibility you built this for.
Throughout all three months, a significant part of the work focuses on how to think, not just what to do. Judgment, how to read organizations, how to find leverage, and how to show up as an advisor who is genuinely valued.
$1,000 per month, billed automatically.
Most engagements run three months. After that you're welcome to continue month-to-month through private coaching, group sessions, or alumni access, whatever fits where your practice is at that point.
Once you complete your enrollment, you'll receive a confirmation with everything you need to schedule your first session with Lowell.
